THIS CAR WAS MADE BY THE HUBLEY MANUFACTURING COMPANY OF LANDCASTER, PENNSYLVANIA. ORIGINALLY THE COMPANY INCORPORATED IN 1894 BEGAN MAKING HIGHLY DETAILED METAL CAST IRON TOYS IN 1909 AND CONTINUED BUSINESS THROUGH 1969. A FEW TOYS CONTINUED TO BE MADE UNDER HUBLEY NAME SERIES BY THE OWNER UP THROUGH THE 1990's BUT THEY ARE NO LONGER IN PRODUCTION.
